We hosted an April Fools’ Black and White Dinner at the cabins this Sunday. Here we are, lighting a binary sparkler. The roster of foods included black sesame earl grey chiffon cake, black rice risotto with shiitake mushrooms and white asparagus, squid ink pasta with mussels and ricotta, black grape (grey!) jell-o, black grits with white cheddar, among many many others.
